ZeroTech Optics has announced the first variable magnification prism scope. Other manufacturers have produced prism scopes that could switch between 1x and 4x (like the Elcan Spectre), but a true variable is new. Let’s dig into the specs.Optics @ TFB: TFB Review: AT3 Tactical ARO-MINI 3 MOA Red Dot TFB Extended Review: Vortex Crossfire 2 MOA Red Dot Trijicon Officially Announces the New RMR HD and RCR Red Dots TFB Review: Meprolight MPO Pro-S vs MPO Pro-F New Aimpoint COA Red Dot – In Collaboration With GlockThe Thrive HD 1-4×24 Variable Prism is 6 inches long and weighs 19 ounces. It mounts on the gun with an integral QD for 1913 rails, and because it is built into the optic, there is no need to level the tube. The reticle is etched into the glass, illuminates in both red and green, and runs on a 2032-cell battery. Two buttons on the side of the scope control the reticle brightness. Capped turrets have 1/2 MOA adjustments and the parallax is fixed at 100 yards. There’s no ETA posted for the Thrive
