[SHOT 2025] Dead Air Unveils Sandman X Suppressor

Dead Air Silencers has a new model of the Sandman silencer for 2025. The Sandman X adds low backpressure features and a new material to build on the Sandman’s legacy. It may share a name with the original, but it is an almost entirely new beast.

The Mojave 9mm silencer’s Triskelion baffles and 3D-printed construction, Nomad rifle silencer gas handling, and Lazarus silencer’s use of Haynes 282 pushed silencer design forward, and those advancements spawned the Sandman X. The most notable is the reduced backpressure design that helps the host firearm operate without as much extra gas pressure as silencers typically induce.
