RI: Variety of gun bills introduced to Assembly

Since January, GOA has been tracking a mix of gun bills in the Rhode Island Assembly. This list includes pro-gun legislation which helps to restore the Second Amendment rights of Rhode Island residents.
Unfortunately, alongside these pro-gun bills are several anti-gun bills and proposals that are moving through the legislature as well. The list can be seen below:
Support:
SB 142 – Constitutional carry for all residents over the age of 21.
SB 65 – Adds an appeal process for those who have been denied a carry permit.
SB 146 – Allows for out of state concealed carry permits to be valid in Rhode Island.
SB 144 – Permits possession or use of device that muffles sound on any firearm longer than 17”.
SB 150 – Would re-legalize silencers in the state of Rhode Island. *Not* a suppressor freedom bill – residents would still need to comply with all current federal law.
Oppose:
HB 5069 – Limits acceptable reasons for a person to request/apply for a concealed carry license.
HB 5130, and its companion bill, SB 59 – Would require all “crime guns” to be submitted to the ATF for testing and tracing.
HB 5443 – Allows individuals to voluntarily add themselves to a watchlist that would restrict their right to
