Photo Of The Day where U.S. Coast Guard members from the Coast Guard Helicopter Interdiction Tactical Squadron perform a weapon qualification exercise at a gun range in Jacksonville, Florida, June, 2024.To the best of our knowledge, this is the new M110A3 in 6.5mm Creedmoor using the KAC 110K1 kits. As you may note, the A3 version lacks the characteristic suppressor of the M110 SASS. The rifle has a scope from Nightforce, B5 Systems collapsible precision buttstocks and B&T Industries bipod.
According to the caption, HITRON is the USA’s first and most successful airborne law enforcement unit, trained and authorized to employ airborne use of force.
The beginners were given rifles with iron sights only, no bipods, to learn the basic skills. What do you think of the idea?
