NEXTORCH has announced the ND30B Civilian Electronic Distraction Device. Described as a powerful distraction device designed to deliver intense light and sound, the ND30B provides a non-lethal means to create a tactical advantage. The device can be used as a tool for training or for real-world scenarios without any of the risks associated with pyrotechnics.Based on the company’s video online, I wouldn’t compare the NEXTORCH ND30B to a flashbang, but it works on a similar principle. While it is a civilian-friendly platform, NEXTORCH says the device is engineered to meet the needs of law enforcement and military operations. The ND30B emits a blinding 360-degree 11,000-lumen strobe and a piercing 130dB of audio, effectively distracting and disorienting intruders or personal threats.
