CO: Semi-Auto Ban Moves to the House

Last night, the Colorado Senate advanced SB 25-003, a semi-auto ban which will bar the sale of almost all semi-automatic rifles, pistols, and shotguns which accept a detachable magazine. Sadly, it received support from both Democrats and Republicans and passed by vote of 19-15.
SB 25-003 was also amended, with an “exemption” for Colorado residents who wish to enter a permit to purchase system and take multiple state-run tests in order to buy semi-automatic firearms.
Gun Owners of America opposes this legislation and is urging the every member of the Colorado House of Representatives to OPPOSE and vote NO  SB 25-003.
