HB2005 made it illegal to own or sell a firearm without a serial number (punishable by fine as a non-criminal offense). They also made it illegal (punishable as a felony) to manufacture or sell an “undetectable” firearm, in an effort to target firearms 3D-printed from plastic. Ownership of such firearms would only be considered a misdemeanor.
